Come and connect with this musical piece from the great Celia Cruz⭐️?In a fusion of Cha Cha Cha and Latin rhythms such as bachata and salsa, we invite you to participate in this dance immersion where you will connect your love for Latin music with its essence, passion, and rhythm.
The workshop will be divided into three parts:
1. Physical conditioning and basic techniques of handling heels in dance.
2. Basic/intermediate class of cha cha cha, salsa caleña and Dominican bachata.
3. Group choreography.
It is a workshop specially designed for all the girls who want to learn, improve and condition their dance techniques in Latin rhythms.

Adriana is a passionate Colombian who loves folklore, Latin dances, urban style, and Afro rhythms. Since the age of 8, she has been a part of dance groups where she has been able to develop her artistic skills and has achieved local and departmental titles in dance competitions. Upon arriving in Australia in 2019, she found a way to showcase her culture through salsa, where she represented the Cali salsa style at both local and national levels, also winning some titles in competitions. Currently, she is expanding her dance knowledge to include reggaeton and Latin Mix. ???

Dress Code ?
I want you to feel comfortable and confident during class, so wear something that makes you feel good! Leggings, shorts, and a singlet are all great options. Make sure you are able to move freely and safely in whatever you choose to wear.
Dance heels for video at end of workshop. We will be doing heels technique in sneakers due to new shoe restrictions imposed by King Street Arts Centre. However, we will be recording this routine in a different location in the center where we will be able to wear heels and put in practice what we’re going to learn! So, don’t forget your heels!
