Join The Muttropolitan Pet for Laced Up Leashed Up. A free, beginner-friendly 3-mile walk through historic Anacostia Park. Stick around at The Bridge District for music, community, giveaways and more.

Pet Supply Swap! Bring gently used dog supplies (toys, collars, harnesses, leashes, bowls, beds, clothing, etc.) and swap them out!

All ages. All breeds. All welcome.

What to Know Before You Go:

🐾Beginner friendly walk
Flat surface, ~3 miles total

🐾All breeds and sizes welcomed
A judgement free zone

🐾Dog-friendly dogs only
Your pup must be comfortable around other dogs

🐾Open to all (including children)
Be mindful of how your dog interacts with other people and children

🐾YES! Non-dog owners are welcome
Come one, come all

🐾Be mindful of your dog’s behavior
Create space if dogs become a bit tense or anxious

🐾Check vaccinations records
Rabies and Distemper required, Bordetella is a plus

🐾Pick up after your dog
Don’t forget the poop bags

🐾Your dog MUST be leashed at all times
Leashed pup = safe pup

By completing your RSVP, you agree to the following:
Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in Laced Up Leashed Up, a community dog walk hosted by The Muttropolitan Pet LLC™, involves inherent risks including but not limited to dog bites, dog altercations, falls, trips, and other injuries to myself, my dog, or others.
Participant Responsibility: I accept full responsibility for my dog's behavior throughout the event. I agree to keep my dog on a leash at all times and will remove my dog immediately if they display aggressive behavior toward people or other dogs.
Vaccination Confirmation: I confirm that my dog(s) are current on rabies and distemper (DAPP) vaccinations. I understand that proof of vaccination may be requested at check-in.
Release of Liability: I hereby release The Muttropolitan Pet LLC™, its owners, volunteers, partners, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, or liability arising from my participation in this event, including injury to myself, my dog, or third parties.
Photo & Media Release: I grant The Muttropolitan Pet LLC™ permission to photograph and/or video record me and my dog during this event and to use such content for promotional purposes including social media and marketing materials. *
