Calling all budding detectives and those needing something to do over Wellington Anniversary Weekend in January 2026.
The Discover Kāpiti Heritage Group needs your help!
9 museums on the Kāpiti Coast have clues that need to be solved. By finding the answer to the clue at each of the participating museums in this FREE event, the visitor receives an entry into the prize draw to win 1 of 4 epic prize packs.
For those who only have time to find some of the clues, that's okay as they will get an entry into the prize draw for each correct answer they find.
The clue hunt begins at any of the 9 participating sites they visit, where entry forms (containing the clues) can be found.
The event is designed with families in mind, offering a fun and exciting activity, to showcase the history and heritage of the Kāpiti Coast and to promote some of the local businesses who have donated prizes for the 4 prize packs on offer.
