Next week at KraftWerkets Folkekøkken, we’re kicking off summer the American way. Memorial Day (May 25) marks the unofficial start of summer in the US — we’re marking it with classic dishes you’d find at a cookout, but done entirely vegan 🌱On the menu:
- Crispy tofu “wings” (no chickens required 🐔) smothered in BBQ sauce
- Baked mac & cheese
- Creamy kale salad with garlic and tahini dressing

Important practical information:
- Dinner is always fully vegan
- We serve food at 18:30.
- Tickets can be bought at Tikkio.com. The deadline is usually 4 pm the day before the event. This will ensure we have enough food, and that no food goes to waste.
- A main dish ticket costs 60 DKK. It is not possible to reserve tickets.
- Refunds are not possible through Tikkio. If you have a spare ticket, please try and sell it to someone else. 🙂
- Please help us by collecting all your dishes, cutlery and glasses, and giving them a wipe at the washing station. We are only volunteers and would like to minimise the time spent cleaning.
