About this Event
Deep within us, a dormant force lies coiled, waiting to be awakened. This sacred and secret energy is the driving power that gives birth to possibility - and ultimately is the source of all creation. When this energy is activated through practice it begins to rise through the subtle channels of our body .
This experience is designed to help you discover or rediscover this energy within yourself. This can include shedding the false self to reveal the divine truth of what is important, and who you really are. Kundalini energy purifies as it awakens within every cell of your body and every facet of consciousness. The journey of awakening is a process of self mastery, liberation, leading helping to open the doorway to experiencing our own divine nature.
Kundalini awakening is a journey, a profound metamorphosis that can reshape the way we experience reality. Through gentle movement, conscious breathing, and sound, we will create a space to reflect, reconnect, and rediscover the deep beauty and mystery of existence. You will be immersed in sound and guided through a partially led meditation designed to help you sense this energy, awaken it, release blockages, and restore balance and clarity.
Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in. Please bring any props, blankets, or bolsters you need to be as comfortable as possible laying down.
Facilitated by William — a lover of learning, health, wellness, and adventure. Working with sound therapy transformed William’s understanding of healing, revealing how true restoration unfolds from the inside out. William is passionate about helping others experience the power of letting go, harmonizing the nervous system, and reconnecting with the innate intelligence that flows through us all. His intention is to support others in awakening their vitality and living in alignment with their fullest expression.
Getting to Evolve Academy
The Evolve Academy of Conscious Learning is located inside The Schoolhouse at 720 Magnolia Road, Suite 21, Charleston, SC 29407.
Please park on the Magnolia Road side of The Schoolhouse building and enter through the double doors labeled “Events.” Once inside, turn left and you’ll find Evolve Academy in Suite 21.
As a center for adult personal and professional development, many of our classes take place in the evenings and on weekends. If you happen to arrive late and find the exterior doors locked, simply knock gently on the window to the left of the doors—this is the Evolve classroom window. (Arriving a few minutes early is the smoothest way in.)
Evolve is a serene, cozy space designed with nervous-system comfort in mind. You’ll find calm lighting, soft rugs and cushions, warm herbal tea, and neutral tones—intentionally curated to help you feel safe, grounded, and cared for. All are welcome. We love all of our neurodivergent friends, all of our friends of various genders, sexual orientations, ethnic backgrounds, physical challenges, and more. There is a handicap accessible ramp to enter the building. This is a safe space for you.
Many of our classes are taught with our students seated on comfy cushions on the ground. If you need or would like a chair, we are happy to accommodate you.
