About this Event

We welcome volunteers to engage in meaningful ʻāina based work at our farm locations in Waimea. By participating, you contribute to the revitalization of traditional Hawaiian agricultural practices and help perpetuate sustainable food systems for future generations.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteer days provide an opportunity to connect with the land and engage in ʻāina-based work that supports community resilience, environmental restoration, and food sustainability. Tasks will vary depending on seasonal needs and site-specific priorities.

Requirements for Volunteers

Pre-Registration

All volunteers must complete our Volunteer Registration Form prior to arrival. You must be 18 years old or older to fill out the registration form. Anyone younger than 18 must have their parent or guardian complete and sign the waiver on their behalf.

What to Bring

Comfortable work clothes that can get dirty
Refillable water bottle
Hat and sunscreen
Snacks
Medications
Optional: Towel and change of clothes if working in wet areas

How to Sign Up

To join us, please complete the Volunteer Registration Form. As a disclaimer, we ask that all volunteers fill out and submit their registration forms at least 24 hours prior to the volunteer day.

Be sure to select the exact date you plan on volunteering with us on the registration form.

Please remember that this registration is for Week Day Volunteers only. If you are only available to volunteer on the weekends, please consider signing up for our next organized Work Day which is hosted every third saturday of the month.
