The Ka Makani Fall players return to the GPAC theater with this yearʻs musical: Little Shop of Horrors (Off-Broadway Version)
“Somewhere that’s green…” begins the quirky and thrilling tale of a timid flower shop clerk, a love-struck coworker, and a mysterious plant with an appetite for more than just sunlight. Get ready for a darkly funny and musically dazzling adventure at the Gates Performing Arts Center (GPAC) at HPA! Based on the cult classic film, Little Shop of Horrors comes to life on stage with unforgettable songs by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman—the award-winning duo behind The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. This electrifying production blends comedy, romance, and a touch of horror into one unforgettable night at the theater.
Directed by Taylor Morgan, with choreography by Kelly Wadlegger and musical direction by Mario Flores, this reimagined Little Shop features our talented cast with a live 5-piece band that brings the show to life! Get ready for a killer good time as we feed your appetite for music, laughter, and a little mayhem!
Join us for a thrilling performance you won’t want to miss! Little Shop of Horrors, the Musical is rated PG-13 and includes some themes and moments that may not be suitable for younger children. As a K–12 community, we warmly welcome all students and families to attend. We kindly ask that younger children be accompanied by an adult. Mahalo for your understanding and support!
General Admission Tickets ($10) can be purchased in advance or at the GPAC Theater door (cash or credit card). Admission is free for HPA Students, Faculty, and Staff.
Theater Doors open at 6:30pm Friday (11/7) - Saturday (11/8) and on Sunday (11/9) at 1:30pm.
