Kristy Lee’s penetrating voice and intense, soulful lyrics touch people down deep – in the places where only the best music can reach. Just like the Alabama backroads she grew up on, her sultry voice wraps around your senses and takes you places you didn’t know you were missing.
Kristy’s raw authenticity has captured the hearts of a loyal international fan base as well as some of music’s top names. She has shared the stage with Leon Russell, Zac Brown Band, Indigo Girls, G. Love & Special Sauce, Jack Johnson, Jason Isbell and Imagine Dragons – to name a few. She has played some of the most prestigious music festivals in the world including BluesFest Australia, the Hangout Fest, 30A Songwriters Festival, Cayamo & The Rock Boat Festivals at Sea, and her own conception, the Unleashed Festival in Pensacola, Florida.
Kristy recorded her first album when she was 18 years old and has since recorded two others, with the next one currently in the works. Her original song “One Night Romance” has been recorded by G. Love and 60’s soul legend, Mary Clayton – it is the ultimate incarnation of the “Dirt Road Soul” Kristy Lee has become known for.
When you meet Kristy it is obvious that she is an old soul. She is a true creative, and when she’s not writing new music or traveling the world sharing her message of love and light, Kristy is painting her hopeful words on canvas. She is currently fighting multiple sclerosis, and her creative spirit is proving to be the therapy that is stronger than this disease.
