Kolkrabbinn er ný viðburðaröð Ensemble Adapter í samvinnu við Tjarnarbíó. Á Kolkrabbanum má sjá verk sem dansa á mörkum tónlistar, gjörningalistar, dans og leikhúss. Tilrauna-tón-leikhús sem er samt ekki ópera.. Kolkrabbinn er með alla anga úti og allt í öllu. Hann vill eitthvað óvenjulegt og skemmtilegt, ögrandi og nýtt.
Kolkrabbinn er styrktur af Reykjavíkurborg og Tónlistarsjóði. Myndina af kolkrabbanum gerði Páll Ivan Frá Eiðum.

Everything Everywhere er nýtt verk eftir Ensemble Adapter og bandaríska listahópinn Ensemble Pamplemousse. Í sameiningu ætla þau að skapa sviðsskrímsli, einskonar meta-hljóðfæri. Útgangspunktur verksins er að átta sig á alhliða glundroða nútíma samfélags. Allt er til staðar, alltaf og alls staðar en spurningin er hvað kemur næst? Verkið var frumflutt í Berlín í Nóvember 2024.

Kolkrabbinn is a new event series by Ensemble Adapter in collaboration with Tjarnarbíó. At Kolkrabbinn, you can experience works that live on the borders of music, performance art, dance, and theater. It’s experimental music-theater, but not quite opera. Kolkrabbinn has all angles covered and is involved in everything. It wants something unusual and fun, challenging and new.
Kolkrabbinn is supported by the City of Reykjavik and the Music Fund. The painting of Kolkrabbinn was made by Páll Ivan Frá Eiðum.

Everything Everywhere is a new work by Ensemble Adapter and the American Ensemble Pamplemousse. Together, they create a stage monster, a sort of meta-instrument. The starting point of the work is the realization of an all-encompassing chaos. Everything is present, always, and everywhere, but the question is: what comes next? The piece premiered in Berlin in November 2024.
