About this Event
Off-year elections often see historically low turnout—but we can change that! Join us for a hands-on volunteer event to knock on doors, talk to neighbors, and make sure our communities are informed and engaged about the 2025 Denver School Board election and key ballot initiatives.
This is your chance to have a direct impact: by sharing information and encouraging friends and neighbors to vote, we can drive higher turnout and strengthen our local democracy. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to talk to people, learn, and take action!
Why it matters: Every conversation counts. Many eligible voters don’t participate in off-year elections simply because they aren’t aware of the candidates or issues. Together, we can change that.
When: November 2
Where: Meet at Montbello Civic Center Park (Google Maps Link)
We’ll provide training, materials, scripts and clipboards. What to bring:
- Water
 - Comfortable shoes
 - Energy, enthusiasm, and a smile
 - Canned goods, pasta, or other shelf-stable items (see below)

Also, we are figting hunger in our communities!
As Congress and the shutdown threaten SNAP benefits for working families, we’re collecting food donations at our canvass launch to help fill the gap.
Bring canned goods, pasta, or other shelf-stable items and join us for a weekend of action that feeds both our democracy and our community.
