Klubb Impuls har i 10 år bjudit Göteborg på sprakande konsertprogram som tar avstamp i jazz och improvisation och vidgar begreppet jazz. Genom åren har ljudvågorna touchat experimentellt, fri improvisation, punk, visa, folkmusik, elektroniskt med mera. Som en av Sveriges mest nyfikna och jämställda klubbar bjuder Klubb Impuls in sin publik till nya musikaliska upptäckter och kontrastrika upplevelser. På Atalante arrangerar de en dubbelkonsert.
Polina Pohozha är en ukrainsk pianist, kompositör och fri improvisatör. Hennes musik skapar ett utrymme för djup känslomässig öppenhet och fängslande kontraster. Musiken bygger på rika texturer och skiktade ljud, vilket drar lyssnarna till en kraftfull, uppslukande atmosfär.

Kinesiska Guzheng-spelaren Wu Fei är i verket Along with the tides inspirerad av tidvattnet och månens krafter. Med urgammal kinesisk poesi och vågorna som guide skapar hon tillsammans med sina medmusiker sin egen ljuddikt. En personlig tour de force i en evigt framdrivande rörelse.

For 10 years, Klubb Impuls has offered Gothenburg sparkling concert programs that have their roots in jazz and improvisation, and aims to broaden the concept of jazz. Over the years, the sound waves have touched on experimental, free improvisation, punk, show, folk music, electronica and more. As one of Sweden’s most curious and equal club organizers, Klubb Impuls invites its audience to new musical discoveries and contrasting experiences. At Atalante they arrange a double concert.
Polina Pohozha is a Ukrainian pianist, composer and free improviser. Her music creates a space for deep emotional openness and captivating contrasts. The music is built on rich textures and layered sounds, drawing listeners into a powerful, immersive atmosphere.
In the piece Along with the tides, the Chinese Guzheng player Wu Fei is inspired by the tides and the forces of the moon. With ancient Chinese poetry and the waves as a guide, she creates her own sound poem together with her fellow musicians. A personal tour de force in an eternally propulsive movement.
The concert is arranged in collaboration with Ha Concerts, Europe Jazz Network Green Pilot Tour, Flandres Ministry of Culturem, Knutpunkt, Göteborg Artist Center with support by Kulturrådet.
