KLANGTEPPICH — Sound Woven Into Wool
Singer, songwriter, composer, vocal therapist and poet Ruveyda invites you into a space where sound, story and spirit intertwine. Set within the kilim collection of Wild Heart Free Soul and surrounded by the history and depth of handmade carpets, she weaves bilingual music and poetry into the atmosphere of the room.
Through maqam-inspired vocals in Turkish, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani, alongside poetry in English and German, the evening unfolds as a living tapestry of sound.
Accompanied by string instruments and percussion, the space blossoms into resonance, tenderness and presence. A place where the quiet weight we all carry can soften, where healing frequencies move through the room, and where community gathers in listening hearts.
This concert marks the beginning of a new series: an invitation to return, to listen, and to be woven together through sound. An intimate live acoustic evening where music meets the ancient language of carpets.
