Najnowsza wystawa Marty Jamróg 'Kiszone lustro' to wizualna opowieść podejmująca próbę dotarcia do najwcześniejszych, niedostępnych pamięciowo etapów konstytuowania się człowieka. Artystka kieruje uwagę na moment formowania się życia, traktując go jako przestrzeń, w której mogą powstawać pierwsze matryce emocjonalne i predyspozycje: procesy, które zaczynają działać jeszcze zanim jednostka wejdzie w relację ze światem zewnętrznym. Centralnym wątkiem wystawy jest rozważanie hipotezy „zaprogramowanego scenariusza”, czyli przekonania, że trajektoria życia może być w jakiś sposób zarysowana już na samym początku istnienia. Jamróg analizuje napięcie pomiędzy tym, co determinowane, a tym, co możliwe do samodzielnego ukształtowania. Zastanawia się, czy jesteśmy autorami własnej biografii, czy też wykonawcami wcześniej zapisanej struktury. Wystawa staje się tym samym propozycją refleksji nad genezą tożsamości: nad tym, jak wiele z niej wyłania się z naszych decyzji, a jak wiele z obszarów, do których nie mamy dostępu, lecz które nas nieustannie kształtują.
Jednym z obrazów prezentowanych na wystawie jest ten przedstawiający kolumbijską piosenkarkę Shakirę. „Obraz przedstawia metaforyczną scenę odnoszącą się do marzeń i aspiracji artystów. Ukazuje postać Shakiry znajdującej się w łonie człowieka. Shakira jest tu zarodkiem symbolizującym duszą przygotowującą się do wędrówki ziemskiej, zgodnie z koncepcją zawartą w książce 'Wędrówka dusz' Newtona. Dusza ma wyznaczoną drogę i cel, jednak rzeczywistość często burzy te plany. Aspiracje mogą zostać zakwestionowane przez życiowe przeszkody i ograniczenia. Obraz ten podkreśla, że nie każdemu udaje się wypełnić przeznaczenie swojej duszy” - tłumaczy artystka.

Marta Jamróg's latest exhibition, 'Kiszone lustro' (eng. 'Pickled Mirror'), is a visual narrative that attempts to reach the earliest, inaccessible stages of human development. The artist focuses on the moment of life's formation, treating it as a space in which the first emotional matrices and predispositions can arise: processes that begin to operate even before the individual enters into a relationship with the outside world. The central theme of the exhibition is the consideration of the “programmed scenario” hypothesis, i.e., the belief that the trajectory of life can be outlined in some way at the very beginning of existence. Jamróg analyzes the tension between what is determined and what can be shaped independently. He wonders whether we are the authors of our own biographies or the performers of a pre-written structure. The exhibition thus becomes a proposal for reflection on the origins of identity: how much of it emerges from our decisions and how much from areas to which we have no access but which constantly shape us.
One of the paintings presented at the exhibition depicts Colombian singer Shakira. "The painting depicts a metaphorical scene referring to the dreams and aspirations of artists. It shows Shakira inside a human womb. Shakira is here an embryo symbolizing the soul preparing for its earthly journey, in accordance with the concept contained in Newton's book ‘Journey of Souls’. The soul has a designated path and goal, but reality often disrupts these plans. Aspirations can be challenged by life's obstacles and limitations. This painting emphasizes that not everyone succeeds in fulfilling their soul's destiny," explains the artist.
