Join Ozark Raga for a Bhakti yoga gathering of Kirtan, Mantra, and chanting to quiet the mind & open the heart. We will explore chants and prayers from a variety of traditions, come sing with us or just sit, listen and soak up the sounds! It will make you feel so good!Kirtan is a form of call-and-response chanting rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition, which is the yoga of devotion. It involves singing sacred mantras, usually in Sanskrit, often accompanied by instruments like the harmonium, drums, or cymbals.
The purpose of Kirtan isn’t performance—it’s participation. As voices join together, it becomes a meditative, heart-opening practice that helps quiet the mind, uplift the spirit, and create a sense of connection—with self, with others, and with something greater.
