Kinesthetic Communication with the Newborn ft Tom Myers & Sister MorningStar
Join us for a three-hour evening exploring
• The biology of democracy: two-way communication with newborns through movement
• How early relational attunement shapes our psychophysiology
• Bonding, attachment, and belonging
• The early foundation of long-term human resilience
The evening includes lecture, live demonstration, guided experiences, and audience Q&A. Come in relaxed clothing so you can move.
This event is designed for parents, expecting parents, birth workers, bodyworkers, educators, and anyone interested in early human development and relational intelligence.
Tom Myers is an internationally recognized teacher of anatomy and movement, and the founder of Anatomy Trains, a body of work that has reshaped how practitioners understand the human form through the lens of fascia and whole-body continuity.
With more than five decades of hands-on practice and teaching, Tom brings a deeply integrated understanding of structure, movement, and relationship in the living body. His work bridges traditional anatomical science with lived, embodied observation — emphasizing that anatomy is not static, but responsive, relational, and shaped by use, gravity, and experience.
Tom’s teachings support practitioners in seeing the body as an interconnected system rather than a collection of parts, offering practical insight that informs touch, movement, and clinical decision-making across disciplines and across client populations.
