A small, supportive space to help you navigate early parenthood, connect with others, and feel a little more like yourself again.
About this Event

The perinatal period can bring a mix of emotions, from joy and love to anxiety, overwhelm and low mood. You’re not alone in that.

This 6 week small group programme offers a gentle, supportive space to:

  • connect with other parents who understand
  • share experiences (as much or as little as feels right)
  • explore ways of supporting your mental health and wellbeing
  • feel more confident and steady in yourself and your parenting

The group is facilitated by Katalin Thomann, Perinatal Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

It is a peer support space, not a clinical service, and it does not replace medical care.

This group is for:

  • women and birthing parents
  • with a baby under 12 months
  • who may be experiencing low mood, anxiety, overwhelm or isolation
  • or who would simply benefit from connection and support

You’re welcome to attend with or without your baby.

We ask that you attend all sessions where possible, as this helps build trust and continuity within the group.

This group is designed for parents experiencing low to moderate mental health challenges.

If you feel you may need more intensive or specialist support, we can help signpost you to appropriate services.

Thanks to funding support, this group is free to attend. If you’re in a position to do so, we invite a suggested donation of £5 per session (£30 per block) to help us continue offering support to future families.

Please choose the ticket option that feels right for you.

After booking, you’ll be asked to complete a short registration and screening form. This helps us make sure the group is a good fit and that we can support you safely.

Places are limited, and we may not be able to offer a space to everyone.
