$Kids Pottery on the Wheel \/ Beginner-Intermediate$

This class is for beginning - intermediate level students. Beginning students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel including centering and opening to create bowls, cups and plates as well as how to trim and glaze their pieces before the final firing.
Intermediate level students will be encouraged to take on projects that expand their skills while exploring individual creativity in clay. Projects may include working with larger pieces, more complex forms, creating sets, and experimenting with surface design.
All students will have their own wheel for the entirety of the class period.
