About this Event

Give your child the gift of confidence, creativity, and healthy habits! Our Kids Can Cook Class introduces young children (ages 3–5) to the joy of cooking delicious, plant-based foods in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.

Teaching kids how to cook and enjoy healthy foods has a lifelong impact — not only on their own well-being, but on the future of our planet. In each class, children will:

✨ Learn kitchen safety basics

🔪 Practice proper (age-appropriate) knife handling

🥕 Build healthy eating habits

🥣 Prepare one tasty, plant-based recipe to take home

🎉 Enjoy games and hands-on fun along the way

At this curious and energetic age, children are eager to jump in and participate. While classes are considered parent-assisted, we encourage minimal parental involvement so children can build independence and confidence. Even our youngest chefs take initiative as they learn important skills like teamwork, following directions, counting, recognizing colors and shapes, and basic measuring.

Skills we practice include mixing, pouring, wrapping, shaking, spreading, peeling, rolling, mashing — and sometimes even measuring, cutting, grinding, and grating!
