Get ready for a memorable experience for your young artist! In this drop-off program, artist Molly Rhode will guide children on a nature hike through the preserve to observe spring’s beauty up close — noticing shape, texture, color, and seasonal change.After the hike, children will gather for a hands-on art workshop where Molly will lead them in painting their own canvas tote inspired by nature. This experience encourages creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for nature’s influence on art.
Ages: 7–12
Date/Time: Monday, May 18 | 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Cost: $35 per child
Please choose which tote you’d like to paint! Butterfly or Mountains.
