In this class, participants will learn how to make Bok Lahong (បុកល្ហុង), a fresh and vibrant green papaya salad prepared by hand using traditional pounding techniques. The presentation portion will feature Sach Ko Ang (សាច់គោអាំង), Cambodian BBQ beef skewers that pair beautifully with the bright, tangy flavors of the salad. Together, this experience introduces participants to the balance of textures and flavors that are central to Khmer cuisine.
