In Her Circle: Spin Class + Campaign Launch

Join us for a charity spin class marking the official launch of In Her Circle: A Movement for Postpartum Mental Health.

This is more than a workout. It’s a chance to move with purpose, connect with community, and support mothers who need care now.

Every ticket helps fund weekly drop-in programming through the Pacific Postpartum Support Society (PPPSS), providing immediate, low-barrier care.

Our goal of $16,000 will fully fund one year of programming.

In BC, up to 1 in 4 women experience mental health challenges during pregnancy or after birth.

The postpartum period is a time of profound transition and vulnerability. When a mother is not supported, her well-being—and her baby’s—are at risk.

Yet too many are left without the care they need. Support often ends just weeks after birth, replaced by isolation and difficult-to-navigate systems.

When more serious challenges arise, families often face:

• 3–6 month waitlists for group support
• Limited access to timely, specialized care
• No mother-and-baby hospital care
• Little to no outpatient support after discharge

This movement is grounded in lived experience and organized by people close to Jenna Dorman.

In 2024, Jenna tragically died of postpartum suicide. Jenna was deeply loved by her family and supported by a strong, engaged community, and despite that, we were unable to help her access the level of care she needed during an incredibly acute period.

“In Her Circle” is inspired by the concentric circles of care that formed around Jenna in her illness, and calls on all of us to step into the circle of care surrounding mothers and families.

• 50-minute signature RIDE spin class, led by Brooke
• A high-energy, community-driven experience
• Post-ride refreshments, courtesy of Sansorium and Art of Nourishment
• Sponsor perks and giveaways
• Short remarks from campaign organizers and PPPSS

• Wear form-fitting pants or shorts and a light, breathable top
• Please arrive by 12:15 PM — class begins promptly at 12:30 PM
• Bring a water bottle (or purchase one at the studio)
• Towels (bike and shower) are provided
• Self-locking lockers are available

Join us after class to connect, learn more about the campaign, and see the impact your ride is helping create.

Classes take place in a low-light studio with loud music.
Earplugs are available.
