Meditations by Keston SutherlandA book of devotional exercises for crushed heads, love poems for a dead woman, a picaresque tour of revolutionary beheadings, sestinas in lifts and doorways, delirious lectures on the history of farming, Xerxes, quack remedies, pest control, flooring, the debt recovery market, geese, death, and planks.
Following its initial Amsterdam launch, the UK launch of Keston Sutherland's new poetry collection Meditations will be held in Brighton at the The Rose Hill, on Thursday May 9th. Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.30pm start. Keston will read for around 45 minutes.
This will be followed by time to talk, to buy a copy of the book and to hang out with lots of cool people while drinking a delicious beverage, listening to excellent music and having a dance.
We are charging a nominal entry fee to cover essential costs. If you are not able to afford the general price, please choose the lower price band. If you can afford to pay more and would like to, thanks! If you can't afford to pay anything at all, please get in touch and we will make sure you can still access the event.
