About this Event

Kengo Kuma is one of the leading voices in contemporary architecture. His internationally acclaimed projects, including the National Stadium in Tokyo, the V&A Dundee Design Museum and the Tiffany store in Tokyo’s Ginza district, are characterised by a distinctive sensitivity to materials, light and landscape.

The hand drawings on display at the exhibition are complemented by – and resonate with – the photographs of NYC/Paris-based photographer Erieta Attali. Over the course of her long-standing collaboration with the architect, she has created artistic interpretations of many of his works.

To mark the exhibition opening, Kengo Kuma will share insights into his practice and join Erieta Attali, Sergei Tchoban and art historian and curator Barry Bergdoll in a conversation on the dialogue between architecture, drawing and photography. More
