ABOUT THE BOOK
Fly along with the Heart of the Swallowtail by Kelly Layne, as Layne invites readers into a lyrical world where poetry, prose, and imagery intertwine to reveal the beauty and ache of being alive. Through tender reflections on love, loss, and belonging, Layne captures the quiet miracles of everyday lifeāthe shimmer of memory, the courage of starting over, and the wonder of finding home within ourselves.
Each page is a landscape of feeling: evocative poems and vivid stories paired with images that illuminate the delicate balance between heartbreak and healing. Like the flight of a swallowtail, the book arcs between shadow and light, reminding us that transformation is always possible.
Heart of the Swallowtail is perfect for readers who love Mary Oliver, Rupi Kaur, or Maggie Smith, and for anyone seeking comfort, reflection, and renewal through art. Whether gifted to a friend or cherished on your own nightstand, this collection is a companion for life's most beautiful turning points.
