KEISHA LANCE BOTTOMS has served as senior advisor to former President Joe Biden, leading the transformation of the White House Office of Public Engagement, and acting as a liaison and media surrogate. Before joining the White House, Bottoms worked with CNN as a political commentator, based in Atlanta, Georgia, where she served in all three branches of government, as judge, councilmember, and mayor.
Grammy-winning singer/songwriter, Kandi Burruss is an Emmy-nominated television icon, recently seen on the popular Showtime drama The Chi, Hulu’s Reasonable Doubt, and Prime’s The Underdoggs. A Tony-nominated and Drama League winning producer, she has spent the last several years working to bring compelling Black narratives to the Broadway stage. She’s brought her talents to the Broadway revival of Othello starring Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal, Thoughts of a Colored Man, The Piano Lesson, Chicago, and The Wiz. She is currently starring on Broadway in the popular musical &Juliet and will next bring her stage producing talents to the show Joe Turner’s Come and Gone starring Taraji P. Henson and debuting in March 2026.
