About this Event
Theme: (Kin)Folk Medicine is not just a plant medicine retreat - it’s a remembrance.
Rooted in the Dallas lineage of (kin)folk, this gathering emerges from a city known for its facades—a place where so much of our shared cultural power, especially within the BIPOC community, has been buried, rewritten, or forgotten. Dallas is a city of erasure, but also one of deep ancestral memory.
We are here to remind you.
This retreat is a full-spectrum ceremonial experience, held by Black facilitators who deeply embody the practices we’re guiding. It's a sacred return to self, community, and ancestral truth—centered on intention, somatic awareness, education, and deep integration.
Yes, we will sit with sacred plant medicines—but this journey is beyond the medicine.
It’s an exploration of how trauma fragments the mind, body, and spirit—and how sacred medicines can help rebuild those internal bridges. This is about liberation through embodiment, not escape. Because truly you are the medicine.
What makes (Kin)Folk Medicine different is our unwavering commitment to integration.
We don’t just offer you a moment of transformation. We walk with you into what comes next.
We’re here to hold space without directing your path. To guide without imposing. To offer stillness, somatics, ritual, and reflection that help you feel the shifts—not just witness them.
This is community care. This is spiritual technology. This is (Kin)Folk Medicine.
