Keep your eyes on the Beloved - Passiontide Concert

Our Lady and St Joseph’s R C Church presents the latest offering from Dove’s Eyes Collective: Keep your eyes on the Beloved. This musical encounter invites you on a devotional journey experiencing the Passion of Christ through the eyes of His Bride, the Church.

Stepping into the season traditionally known as Passiontide, we turn our gaze toward Jesus, “...who, for the joy set before Him, endured the Cross…” (Heb 12:2). We are His joy and His prize — and He is ours! Let us enter more deeply into the mystery of His everlasting love.

This newest song cycle by Dove's Eyes Collective is brought to life as intended by 12 talented instrumentalists and singers, skilled in a wide range of styles to bring the complexities of the pieces to their fullest expression.

Keys and percussion interweave with strings and vocalists, their exchange interspersed with harp and woodwinds. Here contemporary and classical sounds coalesce, as the pieces blend singer-songwriter style storytelling, meditative folk melodies, and gospel-influenced vocal ensemble.

Featuring original music & lyrics by Elzbieta Kalicka (Mass of Revival, Beautiful & Sweet) and music arrangements by Cicely Levy and Elzbieta Kalicka.

Tickets are £15, plus processing fees. To make this event more accessible, there are also donation-based tickets available: pay what you can, and if you’re able, please give a little extra to cover others.
