About this Event
Keep Talking: End the Stigma
Come join us at the Emmanuel Art Gallery for an important event focused on ending the stigma surrounding mental health and bring awareness to sexual violence. We invite students, staff, and faculty to share their experiences with mental health and sexual violence in hopes to provide solace to our community in a meaningful and creative way. This year, we are also partnering with the Phoenix Center at Auraria for Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). Ending the stigma around speaking about our personal struggles and strides goes beyond mental health. This collaboration aims to give those who have experienced sexual violence a space to embrace their voice, bring awareness to harmful misconceptions, and promote safety, respect, and equality around sexual violence conversations.
