SARAH HANSEN is a powerful folk-rock singer-songwriter from St. John’s, Newfoundland. Her voice and evocative lyrics move listeners deeply. Sarah is an engaging and articulate performer who is comfortable onstage sharing songs and stories with her audience. Sarah’s debut album, “Gather Up Your Days” was released in June of 2022. She was nominated for Rock Artist of the Year 2022 by MusicNL.
Sarah traveled extensively from 2014-2020, and during that time took courses in songwriting and guitar from the Berklee College of Music. She participated in “Voice Medicine” singing workshops in Guatemala , and in 2017 was a part of a weekly improvisational singing group in Chiapas, Mexico for several months with UK vocal guru Lucy Sessions. She has performed live in Canada, Guatemala, Mexico, Spain, and the United States.
