You wanted it, you got it! After a successful run in 2025 with 2 sold out shows premiering at the South Asian Theatre Mela, to critical acclaim KaMeeNi is back by popular demand. The ensemble cast is representative of talented actors within the Pakistani and South Asian diaspora, amongst our Sydney based Community- telling our stories and creating a space for POC Art and Culture.
KaMeeNi is a bold and thought-provoking theatrical experience that explores gender, culture, and identity within the Pakistani-Australian community. Fearlessly confronting patriarchy and misogyny, the performance shines a powerful light on women’s struggles while celebrating their resilience, courage, and strength. It is a moving story of survival, defiance, and empowerment that will leave audiences reflecting long after the curtain falls.
