Set during the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950, Taegukgi: The Brotherhood of War follows two brothers whose lives are torn apart by the conflict. Jin-tae (Jang Dong-gun), a devoted older brother, has always sacrificed for his younger sibling, Jin-seok (Won Bin), hoping to provide him with a better future. When both are forcibly drafted into the war, Jin-tae risks his life on dangerous missions in an effort to protect Jin-seok and secure his release from combat. As the horrors of war intensify, the brothers’ bond is tested in ways they never imagined.
