About this Event
What does justice look like when girls lead it early and locally?
Justice Begins Here: Redefining Power, Voice, and Community Norms is a collective dialogue hosted by Girl Rising, Rise Up Together, and She’s the First as an official side event of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). The session centers the leadership of girls and young women whose lived experiences show how access to justice is shaped long before formal legal systems are engaged.
Through storytelling and shared reflection, girl leaders and audience members will explore how strengthening girls’ advocacy skills and engaging boys, families,s and communities in norm-shifting work helps create more equitable and accountable social and legal systems.
This collective dialogue brings together CSW delegates, practitioners, and advocates to explore why justice efforts must begin early, be grounded locally, and center girls and women.
We invite you to join this timely dialogue. Spots are limited, and advanced registration is required.
