Just Dance is beyond thrilled to finally welcome back TWO internationally sought-after musicians and performers: Emmy and Juno award nominated DJ ADHAM SHAIKH *PLUS* renowned Australian didjeridu master, SHINE!!!This duo will create an immersive, high-energy celebration of rhythm and sound. Don’t miss these masters of their craft as they turn the dancefloor into a pulsing, cross-cultural ritual.
Adham will spin the finest Global Fusion music available, including tracks from his 14 albums that blend original electronica and global fusion. Guided by rich sonic tapestries blend elements of world beat, tech house, dub, and ambient soundscapes, a signature style forged by an early love for both Indian ragas and Western classical music.
Shine's previous appearances at JD were a thunderous success with a dance floor that was set ablaze by this truly inspired Australian multi-instrumentalist. Shine has spent decades traveling the globe, sharing the drone, rhythms, and healing vibrations of the didjeridu.
Just Dance founder, organizer and co-resident DJ Abheeru will spin some of his own sonic magic during the opening set. Known for his impeccably crafted sets, Abheeru seamlessly weaves together a rich tapestry of global fusion and hypnotic world beats. Far from a standard club set, Abheeru is sonic storytelling—intentionally building a high-vibrational space where community connects and the dancefloor becomes a celebration of pure movement.
Just Dance 31 Year Anniversary will be an experience a broad spectrum of tempo, rhythm and intensity in the sonic fabric. Expect to hear extravagant and exotic sounds from every continent, fused with hip-shakin' basslines and solid beats - a perfect synthesis of the traditional and contemporary.
Lush radiant visuals will be crafted live by the talented VJ Kashub.

:: ADHAM SHAIKH ::
Adham is a composer, record producer and sound designer. Shaikh skillfully weaves organic and electronic sounds into global music tapestries that take listeners on sonic journeys transcending time and place.
He has released 14 albums. His music styles include a blend of world groove, dub, world beat, tech house, ambient, and jazz. From growing up listening to Indian ragas and Western classical music, he developed an ear for a fusion of sounds from around the world.
The 21st-century rituals of dance and chill-out have drawn Shaikh to explore the trance phenomenon that these different expressions of music create and allow. Over the years, Shaikh has had the pleasure to work with many talented musicians playing musical instruments from India; Bali, Indonesia; Africa; Scandinavia; Turkey; the United States; and Canada. Shaikh's Fusion was nominated for a Juno award in the category of World Music Album of the Year!

SHINE has been performing, teaching and offering sound healing for 20 years. He has performed at numerous international festivals to thousands of people. He has shared the stage with many well known artists, including Michael Franti, Rhiannon, Mickey hart, Jai Uttal, Armando Peraza, Gaudi, Ganga Giri and Mihirangi.
Initiated into didjeridu healing by an Indigenous Aboriginal elder in 1991, he offered sound healing at Hollyhock retreat center for 10 years. A number of leading experts in the field of spiritual healing, including Deepak Chopra, Eckhart Tolle, Ram Das, and Dr. Andrew Weil. His world beat rhythms, percussion and sufi devotional chants of turkey, combined with timeless messages of indigenous wisdom, takes listeners on ecstatic dreamtime journeys into self discovery and inner transformation.

Abheeru has cultivated a profound and rapturous relationship to Global Fusion music, DJing, community service and dancing. As the founder of Just Dance, he has produced, promoted and DJed more than 650 events for over 60,000 dancers. Those were done in the spirit of service as he has always wanted for JD to donate all of its proceeds to local charities and nonprofit groups. For over three decades, he has continued to innovate, inspire and promote new musical concepts for the Vancouver dance community.
As a DJ, Abheeru is known for taping into an extensive palette of genres and styles from far-reaching locations around the world. His main passion is to infuse and mix a wide range of musical organic elements and instruments from many diverse cultures and to blend those with delectable and powerful modern dance beats. The results are exquisitely creative dance sets that will keep your dancing soul and shoes happy.
:: VJ KASHUB ::
Kashub is passionately dedicated to augmenting dancefloors with beautiful, lush, and meaningful visuals. Driven by this, he intuitively syncs his live artistic output to the shifting mood of the room and the evolving music. He elevates the immersive experience, making very event a synesthetic journey where sight and sound merge.
Kashub's name stems from the tribe of his ancestry situated along what is now the Baltic Coast of Poland. The tribe, now dispersed and displaced, lived peacefully isolated amidst sand dunes and swamps along the Baltic since before the dawn of the State of the Teutonic Order some 800 years ago.

Just Dance is a positive party community event. It offers a unique opportunity to dance to an eclectic selection of music from around the world. Held twice a month, Just Dance can be described as a refreshing alternative to the bar and club scene.
