HOW DOES THE FREE SHOP GET THE ITEMS THEY GIVE AWAY?
The Free Shop does NOT accept donated items.
But why????
Because JUNK LADY, llc supplies all the free stuff for The Free Shop!!!
That’s right! Junk Lady, LLC is a local junk/trash hauling business that is hired to conduct clean-outs for estates, barns, attics, apartments, storage units and more! During these clean-outs we find many items that are in great to fair condition and sometimes brand new! We feel they should not be thrown away, but instead kept out of landfills and reloved!
The last two summers we set-up pop up events called JUNK LADY DAY! Where we gave away hundreds of gently used items for free! These events were more successful than anticipated and created quite a following! With the success of these giveaways we decided it was time to open a free store.
For any of you peeps who wish to donate items, we suggest rehoming your items through these other channels;

Yes, everything is free! We also humbly accept any cash donations. Cash donations go towards keeping the Free Shop operating and we'll donate a portion of any cash donations to local food pantries.
Remember, if you can't donate you can still take 😊.
We will always accept non-perishable food donations and deliver them to local food free pantries as well.
Our mission:
Helping More communities by putting Less in landfills. By putting less in landfills we are keeping down mass production which in turn lessens the amount of pollution that is created. Each time any of us rehome we become part of the solution.
