Every second Saturday of the month, Moonah Arts Centre presents a free, family-friendly afternoon of music and food, supporting local musicians and food vendors. Everyone is invited to see a rotating roster of live music, sample delicious food from local pop-up vendors, grab a drink from the bar and explore the current exhibitions inside the galleries (entry is free). Moonah Music is proudly supported by our friends at Arts Tasmania.

JUNE LINE-UP:
HARRY AND THE UPSIDE-DOWN PINEAPPLES are a 5-piece ensemble of established and emerging local jazz musicians. Led by Harris Sar’I (vocalist and former member of jazz trio Baby Croon) alongside Chris McGuinness-Terry (drums), Seb Folvig (bass), Reuben Beretta-Grande (guitar) and Andrew Morrisby (piano).
HEAR NO EVIL is a 7-piece jazz tribute ensemble, primarily performing new arrangements of the original Wayne Shorter album “Speak No Evil”. As well as paying homage to Shorter, this selection of esteemed musicians will share original compositions on piano, horns, guitar, bass and drums.
Our neighbours, ROCK SEA HOUSE will be serving their Nepalese fusion menu at Moonah Music, including delicious momos (Nepali dumplings) and other traditional treats.
