About this Event
June Beer Share @ Franklin Hall
We have our very first mid-week share! June is freakin' nuts and we couldn't squeeze s weekend share into the mix, sorry! But we are teaming up with Franklin Hall for a chill, Thursday night hang out. We'll call this beer share lite. How many rare bottles of beer can we pop in two hours? Let's find out. The crew is welcome to stay longer than 8:30pm, thanks to Franklin Hall for offering us the space and he said he's not kicking us out, but we know it is a week day and folks have to work the next day. Please only bring one big bottle or a few cans to share per person. We always have so much leftover beer (that folks take home) but we're only here for a short timeframe.
This is an open share, so not just members! If you haven't been to a share before, READ THE RULES BEFORE RSPVING/COMING! Seriously. (below)
Our beer shares are fun. The basic concept is to bring some rare/special beers or cans from your travels or favorite local craft brewery. (please, for the love of hops and all things holy, do not bring a macro beer brand to our shares...don't insult the craft...we will judge you in the nicest way possible).
We are all very friendly, very inviting, super nerdy and we LOVE beer. We are here for all the fellow beer nerds, enthusiasts and those who are just getting into the scene and want to make some new, like minded beer firends.

Beer Share Rules
- DO NOT drink and drive. Take Metro or have someone else drive.
- If you are sick or think it’s “just allergies”, stay home. Join us at the next share!
- Be good to everyone. DC Beer reserves the right to eject anyone who
treats others disrespectfully.
- Everyone should bring beer to share, but please bring only as much as
you think you’ll drink. This ensures none will go to waste, and the
host isn’t left with a ton of leftover beer.
- To thank our ever-so-kind brewery host, we STRONGLY encourage (read this as, you absolutely better buy a beer or food from the hosting establishment..don't be a d*ck)
attendees to purchase food from the food vendor and pints or to-go cans from the brewery. To keep this a free event, we must provide proper compensation and support in other ways.
- Attendees waive any liability on the part of DC Beer, the host, or
DC Beer Media LLC; and otherwise hold them blameless for any accidents, injuries, or harm that may occur during the travel to and from the Beer Share, as well as during time spent at the Beer Share.
