Set in small-town Utah, the novel introduces Lexi, a young, successful realtor whose high-power life implodes when she realizes that she has the power to experience other people’s emotions and memories. The first time this happens, she’s on stage accepting a local business award when she looks at a man in the audience and feels like she’s drowning. Later that night, he dies, and Lexi discovers that he was the survivor of a traumatic boating accident.
Lexi dismisses this as a coincidence, but more impossible things keep happening. Becoming an energetic healer is not in Lexi’s ten-year plan, but when her husband falls ill, she’ll have to decide between her old comfortable life and a daunting new path.
Unfortunately for Lexi, before she can save anyone else, she must confront the one thing she fears most: her own past.

Emmy Award-winner, entertainer, producer, and entrepreneur Julianne Hough is known to audiences globally for her success in film, television, and music. She became a household name as a two-time champion on ABC’s top-rated Dancing with the Stars before making a seamless transition to award-winning recording artist and accomplished actress. Her acting credits include Safe Haven opposite Josh Duhamel, Diablo Cody’s Paradise with Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer,Rock of Ages with Tom Cruise, and Netflix’s original Dolly Parton anthology series Jolene. Julianne founded Canary House Productions, which provides storytelling rooted in transformation, self-discovery, and identity, as well as KINRGY, the only trauma-informed dance fitness & energy healing modality backed by neuroscience and evidence-based research. Most recently, she co-founded low-calorie premium wine company, Fresh Vine Wine. Everything We Never Knew, co-written with Ellen Goodlett, is her debut novel.
