National Poetry & Storytelling Month with Jubilee Crafts
Join us at the South Dallas Culture Center for a joyful afternoon of storytime and art celebrating the legendary poet Gwendolyn Brooks!
We’ll read from two beautiful children’s books:
• Exquisite: The Poetry and Life of Gwendolyn Brooks
• Bronzeville Boys and Girls
After storytime, young artists will create their own poetry-inspired artwork, exploring rhythm, imagination, and storytelling through color and creativity.
