About this Event
It's that time of year again! JSUNAA Metro New York is excited to present the 35th S.T.A.R. Program, a Special Thanks and Recognition event honoring native Mississippians who are excelling in their respective fields in the tri-state area. This year's honorees are producer/artist/actress Melissa Mickens and educational leader/community advocate Denzel Turner.
The S.T.A.R. Program is open to all and free to attend. As we look forward to celebrating our honorees, we are also accepting donations for our Sarah R. Norville Endowed Scholarship Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to students from the Tri-State area currently attending Jackson State University. To date, we have raised over $125,000 over the years! There are various donation levels available for the 35th S.T.A.R. Program and we appreciate anything you are able to give to help us financially assist more students.
We look forward to seeing you on June 14th and feel free to share with a friend!
