About this Event

Course Goal: The goal of this course is to provide knowledge and skills to ISSMs, ISSOs, ISSEs, and Assessors responsible for implementing and assessing security policies, practices, and technologies in accordance with Risk Management Framework, JSIG, IC, and DoD Guidance.

Objectives:

Interpret the C&A transformation from DCID/JAFAN 6/3 and DoD to the RMF Process
Identify Roles and Responsibilities in the RMF process
Identify the 6 RMF steps
Discuss Impact Values
Discuss Authorization Artifacts and Body of Evidence Required
Explore Administrative and Non-Technical Security Features
Explore Technical Security Features
Observe how Continuous Monitoring impacts RMF
Learn best practices, tips, and tricks from an experienced instructor

Downtown is a short 20 minute drive, where you can see the historic Alamo and explore the famous River Walk and enjoy a pleasant al fresco evening meal.
