JS Bach's Magnificat is considered by many to be one of the finest masterpieces of the Baroque period. Energetic and lively choruses in 5 parts SSATB pulsate throughout the work interspersed with solo airs a duet and a trio.Additionally we will be performing one of Bach's most famous concerti for oboe and violin BWV 1060R.
As always we have a fantastic group of leading soloists including the up-and-coming countertenor Samuel Mataele who continues to impress audiences with his expressive singing.
