Jr. Vet Club gives children who are passionate about animals the opportunity to learn hands-on from a vet or a vet tech about what it means to work with animals. This three week program is jam-packed of engaging, educational lessons, and interactive activities.Participants will learn about healthy animals and physical exams in one class, safety and behaviour in another, and finally, they will get to participate in a Teddy Bear Clinic, putting all their knowledge together into one exciting evening.
This is a truly unique experience, filled with new friends (person and animal) and learning.
Members of our Jr. Vet Club recieve a stethoscope to perform their physical exams, as well as notebooks, pens, and any other materials needed. Club members also receive prefferred registration on new programs in our Vets in Training catalogue, and exclusive discounts on other programs throughout the year.
