Please come to Boston for the Springtime.I have never had a party on a big birthday, but like my hero, it looks like I'm starting at 60.................................60, I cant believe it!
To play music with friends and to be with like minded open hearted peeps is all I want.
Friday May 15th at The Lizard Lounge Cambridge The Powhida Infirmary (my original band) performs with Sidewalk Driver. ( They are great) Infirmary will go on first at a reasonable hour. 9ish.
Saturday afternoon May 16th, My 60th, Todd Rundgren Tribute Band The Hermits of Mink Halloween will perform with Invasive Species, Powhida's kids band, opening!
Sunday I am trying to organize a tour of the MFA Boston "Things that remind me of Todd"
This event cant really go over 30 people so if you are interested heres what you should know.
You will have to organize your own travel and lodging.
The Hermits show is outdoors at John Heslins home in Woburn and no charge for that.
I am hoping that the MFA tour will be free as well. I think it can be,
The Lizard Lounge show is 15$ and I will post the club link as soon as it goes live.
All are welcome to Lizard Lounge but The Hermits and MFA should be for Todd travellers and we need to cap out at around 30. Not that I expect that many!!! We will do our best to accommodate locals if they are in the TR-ibe
We could also, Sunday,hit the North End and go to Cafe Vittoria and gossip. Great pastries and cocktails!
If you want to visit Boston in May you will get plenty of entertainment as well!
In order to pay for PA sysyem and bands and food we will be passing the hat at The Hermits show. Give what u can if U can.
