About this Event
SUMMARY
Please join Michele to learn to unwind and manage stress in easier and more meaningful ways. If you are feeling emotionally distressed, you probably don’t feel like bounding out of bed in the morning and skipping for joy. When times are difficult or emotionally turbulent, people often want to crawl back into bed and bury themselves under the covers. However, even during difficult times we can maintain our Mindfulness practices and allow ourselves quiet moments of joy. Students will spend time learning Mindfulness practices and how to work with their emotional chaos, to help reduce the stresses of ordinary life. We will also spend time with Meditation practices that help support Mindfulness in our everyday lives. Take this class series to learn to use self-compassion in regular and generous ways. Learn the nurturing qualities of Tara Brach’s RAIN practice. And learn ways to deal with emotional stress that are safe and easy. Michele’s goal is to help you learn personal practices that help develop inner quiet and peace of mind.
