From Rosa Parks to the Freedom Riders, buses have been a central part of making change in America. Now, this bus continues that legacy. From September 4th to October 31st, the Journey to Justice tour will travel from California to Washington, D.C., serving as a moving center for "artivism"—using art and creativity to bring people together, ignite conversation, and build a powerful, unified call for action.We are proud to announce our local event as a key stop on this national tour. Event Details: Explore the bus exchibtion and external elements prior to hearing from different experts in the current fight against the use of solitary confinement in the US.
The Journey to Justice bus is a mobile hub for change, featuring a life-sized solitary cell model, VR experiences, a photo exhibit of survivors, and creative spaces for sharing stories. It’s a place to build the relationships and power necessary to dismantle this brutal system.
