Come join us for a four-week deep dive into the recesses of your own mind — because somewhere in your past, your patterns, and the things you haven't quite said out loud yet, there are jokes waiting to be found. Journaling for Jokes uses guided questions and intentional writing to help you expound your thinking, sit with uncomfortable truths, and discover how humor lives inside the stories you've been carrying.

This isn't just a writing class. It's a space to excavate, to laugh, and to heal. This class is for you if you are: +

• A beginner or intermediate comedian looking to find deeper material
• Someone who has always wanted to tell their story but just needed the right excuse
• On a wellness journey and curious about laughter as part of that path
• Therapy-adjacent — or therapy-curious — and open to doing the work with a little humor

About Your Instructor

Rochelle McConico is a comedian, teaching artist, director, and producer who has spent her career at the intersection of laughter and transformation. A career educator with K–12 classroom experience and a faculty history at Coldtowne Theater, Rochelle brings real pedagogical rigor to comedy development. She was named "Best All-Around Champion of Comedy" by the Austin Chronicle, performed at Moontower Comedy Festival, and is the co-founder and producer of the Lysistrata Comedy Festival.
