Joint Venture is a half-day woodworking class for beginners. You'll build a chic hardwood mug shelf from scratch without screws or nails— while learning two foundational joinery methods that furniture makers use every day.
Your mugs are sitting in a cabinet they hate. Lets fix it!
No experience needed. This is an inclusive space — women, LGBTQIA+ indivduals, and anyone who's never felt like woodworking was made for them are exactly who this class is for.
We work with real hardwood in a private NYC studio with a maximum of 5 students. You'll learn how to use power tools safely, think through construction, and make decisions like a furniture maker.
You leave with the shelf under your arm, a joinery booklet to keep, and the confidence that only comes from flexing your natural building talents.

Cancellation Policy Full refund for cancellations made 7 or more days before class. Cancellations within 7 days receive a credit toward a future Olivia Oak class or product. Credits never expire.
