John Shambles
John Shambles is the solo moniker of Brett Emmons, dynamic frontman of The Glorious Sons. The project steps away from his rock roots into a lo-fi alternative indie world, sitting comfortably alongside artists like MJ Lenderman, Alex G, and Mac DeMarco.
With Brett’s signature gift for relatable lyricism, the songs unfold inside a warm, swirling soundscape produced by Juno nominee Derek Hoffman. The debut single “Fool In The Woods” introduced this new chapter, leading toward a full project release in April 2026. Fans can also follow the evolving John Shambles story through Brett’s long-form writing on Substack.
