Join us for an amazing night of music with the talented John McCusker Trio on October 9th at 8.00pm (doors open at 7.30pm)John McCusker is one of Scotland’s foremost fiddle players, with a long, interesting and well travelled career over the past (almost) 30 years. Playing with and alongside well known names such as the Battlefield Band (from the tender age of 16), Kate Rusby, Heidi Talbot, Michael McGoldrick, John Doyle, Phil Cunningham, Eddi Reader and Mark Knopfler. As well as being an accomplished musician and composer, he is also known as a producer, for his film/television soundtrack work, and his involvement with Edinburgh’s annual Christmas favourite “Phil Cunningham’s Christmas Songbook” (Queen’s Hall).
Playing festivals throughout the UK, Ireland, the USA and Europe, to the Royal Albert Hall, we are pleased to have the John McCusker Trio here at Edinburgh Folk Club for an intimate evening of entertainment.
