Jodhpur RIFF 2025 - Rajasthan International Folk FestivalOverview: India's premiere international roots music festival celebrating its 17th year from October 2-6, 2025, timed to coincide with Sharad Purnima, the brightest full moon of the year in north India. Highlights: Under the patronage of HH Gaj Singh II of Marwar-Jodhpur and international patron Sir Mick Jagger, this UNESCO-supported festival operates as a 'People's Platform for Creativity and Sustainable Development' with performances from dawn to dawn across multiple venues throughout Mehrangarh Fort. The festival combines free daytime concerts, ticketed evening performances, and late-night club events, featuring renowned artists including Padma Shri Lakha Khan, master of Sindhi sarangi, alongside emerging talents through the new 'Indie Roots' program, all while positively impacting the livelihood of traditional Rajasthani performers.
